I was wondering as I look at all the footage of the Pope's visit, I know there has been jokes about his red shoes, but as he visited New York City I couldn't help but wonder that in a city that prides itself as a place for artists to express there artistic talents and a place were dreams come true.

I couldn't feel funny when the only thing that I noticed about this visit is that New York has lost what used to make it what it is and the the Pope of all people was the only one that exspressed artistic expression by wearing his red shoes.

He made a statement in that one settle way I love red shoes and I don't care if you don't.
